連翹

静かな雰囲気です。連翹はいけばなでは垂れものの扱いで、どこかに垂れる枝を見せるのが習いです。しかしそういう枝がない場合は無理に垂らす必要はないと思います。このように素直に静かに立ち上らせるのもまたいいでしょう。

It has a calm atmosphere. In ikebana, forsythia is classified as “Taremono（plant characterized by its drooping form）”.　When arranging forsythia, it is customary to use a branch that droops somewhere. However, if there is no such branch, I don’t think it’s necessary to force it. Letting it rise naturally and quietly like this is also nice.
